Watch Puppy Grow Program

Our Watch Puppy Grow Program classes will teach you what to do with your puppy to help him or her develop proper skills before formal obedience training. This will be a series of 6 classes over 6 weeks. Each week, we will teach owners and puppies a command or two to work on at home for the following week. These classes are designed for puppies 1-4 months old to get basic training and socialization. Our program provides hands-on class where we’ll walk you through the process of training your puppy using positive reinforcement techniques – fun, treats, and love. 

We offer this program because puppies are typically too young at 4 weeks of age to deal with the stress of being around strange people and dogs while also trying to learn new skills. We suggest waiting until your puppy is at least 4-5 months old before beginning formal obedience training. This will help ensure your dog’s ability to concentrate, obey, and retain new information. 

These classes are a great way for you and your puppy to build a bond while learning how to communicate effectively with each other. Our trainers will help you establish healthy boundaries and create a positive foundation for future interactions with people and other animals. Our aim is for your puppy to become accustomed to new people, new places and new things that may present themselves along the way as he or she begins to explore and learn. The goal of the program is to build a solid foundation for your puppy’s future training and ultimately, to thrive throughout his or her life.
